Alain Damasio

Alain Damasio is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary French literature. His novels move between genres, seemingly oscillating between science fiction, fantasy, and futurology. The virtuosity of his style, combined with his narrative inventions, produces a devastating and joyous critique of our dreary control societies, capable of giving rise to radiant horizons. Involved in environmental and social struggles in France, he is one of the leading voices of the French intellectual left.
