Texte-tekst was created by Institut français du Danemark with the aim of promoting French literature in the Nordic region. This tool is primarily intended for Nordic publishers, but also for other players in the book industry in the broadest sense, both in the Nordic region and in France, as well as for readers.
Powered in collaboration with French and Nordic publishers, this website aims to present French books, both fiction and non-fiction, published in one of the Nordic countries but not in the others, in order to keep Nordic publishers informed of what their counterparts in neighbouring countries are publishing.

This tool is not intended to provide an exhaustive list of French books published in the Nordic region, but rather to highlight certain works for their relevance and literary or intellectual qualities.
In addition, this website offers numerous professional resources for publishers, translators and authors, and also promotes various initiatives carried out by the French Institutes in the Nordic region in the field of literature, such as the Literary Prize of the Francophone Ambassadors in Denmark and the Nordic Goncourt Prize.A key stakeholder in foreign cultural policy, Institut français operates under the dual supervision of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture.

It is tasked with three fundamental missions:
I) to promote French culture and language around the world ;
II) to strive for cultural diversity around the world ;
III) to reinforce the impact of the French cultural network abroad.
