Timothée Parrique is a French economist and a researcher in degrowth and post-growth economics.
Born in 1989, he currently works at the Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC) of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. His academic journey includes studies in ecological economics and sustainability sciences at Uppsala University in Sweden, where he engaged with the Center for Environment and Development Studies (CEMUS). He also earned his PhD through a collaboration between Clermont Auvergne University in France and the Stockholm Resilience Center at Stockholm University in Sweden.
Parrique’s research focuses on alternative economic models that prioritize sustainability, equity, and ecological balance, exploring how societies can flourish beyond the pursuit of endless economic growth.
