CONTACT

Caroline Lamarche was born in 1955 in Liège, Belgium. She spent her early childhood in Asturias, Spain, and then grew up in the Paris region. At eighteen, she returned to Belgium, where she studied Romance philology. She taught French in Liège and Nigeria, and now lives in Overijse, on the outskirts of Brussels. As a young adult, she devoted most of her time to reading. Her severe insomnia disappeared when she truly began writing in 1990.

Caroline Lamarche’s writings explore the complexity of human beings, the subtlety of emotions, and the ambivalence of relationships between the sexes.
