Shoot The Book! Series Mania comes back for a new edition on March 24 and 25, 2026 in Lille

This unique program, developed by SCELF (société civile des éditeurs de langue française) in partnership with Series Mania, the biggest event dedicated exclusively to television series in Europe, offers publishers a strategic platform to showcase their most promising titles to international TV and platform producers and connect with key players in the series industry.

This year’s program includes two main activities:


1. A full day of B2B meetings on Tuesday, March 24 at the Series Mania Forum
2. A pitching session (with selection by a jury of audiovisual professionals) on Wednesday, March 25

How to participate in the two Series Mania’s events dedicated to book-to-screen adaptation?

1. SHOOT THE BOOK! B2B MEETINGS: REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

OPTION 1: 3-Day Pass - 660€ excl. VAT
- Full 3-Day Series Mania accreditation

- Double-page spread showcasing your projects in the event catalogue

OPTION 2: Daily Pass - 440€ excl. VAT
- 1-Day Series Mania accreditation
- Dedicated meeting table at Shoot The Book! Rendez-Vous
- Double-page spread showcasing your projects in the event catalogue

Please note: Meeting tables are limited to 25. We invite you to confirm your interest as soon as possible by emailing isabelle.berneron@gmail.com with e.chetara@scelf.fr and l.bourdiaux@scelf.fr in copy, specifying your preferred option and the number of tables required.

2. SHOOT THE BOOK! PITCHES: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

To apply for the pitch session, please complete the application form in English via the following link before January 30, 2026:

You will be asked to:
- Submit one title per publishing house
- Ensure the project has strong international adaptation potential
- An English translation is preferable but not mandatory
- Confirm that audiovisual adaptation rights are available on the day of the pitching session

All submissions will be reviewed by a professional jury, and the final selection will be announced on March 2026.
The selection will showcase french and international works across diverse genres (fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, youth literature, etc).

Selected publishers will benefit from:
- A 3-day accreditation to Series Mania
- Preferential rates for the B2B program (March 24)
